This DERT book was designed to have a strong focus on text and shapes that achieve the goal of long lasting book and an enduring aesthetic. It is intentionally to set in a neutral visual style as a children's short story book in order to make sure that adult can have a same level of joy compare to children when reading this piece of work. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book goes to the designer in support of their career advancement.

          DERT works with emerging designers to create unique, customized books. Each DERT book features the design and conceptual artwork created by graphic design students. DERT collaborative studio program partners with students at art schools to produce book products that are used for fundraising towards charitable literacy efforts.
